Spooky Knows No Season: Ghost Dildo Review

I’m a Halloween girl. Once October 1st rolls around, it’s officially spooky season, and I’m in the Halloween zone for the entire month. September is reserved for other autumnal delights, but Halloween month is a delight that I wish could last all year round. Well…now it can, thanks to Geeky Sex Toys. The Ghost dildo is a chonky, substantial silicone dildo with just a bit of texture and enough girth to haunt me the next day in all the ways I like.

Out of the Box

Out of the Box? There is no box! Because Geeky Sex Toys is a small, boutique sex toy company, they ship their toys in reusable bags instead of boxes or plastic packaging. Ghost came in a cloth sack.

Sex toys in bags

I got the Ghost dildo at the same time as the Mermaid dildo, so here they are side by side in their bags.

The Ghost dildo is pearlescent white silicone, and it looks like it should glow in the dark, but it does not. It’s also incredibly hard to photograph because of the color. If you look closely, you might be able to see its ghost face.

The ghost dildo looks like…well, a little ghost! He has a sheet-like flow to the bottom. Here are pics of the toy from the top and bottom so you can get a sense of size:

It’s firm in hand, with a bit of squish but not very much give.

Into My Box

As soon as I had the ghost dildo in hand, I thought, “This is a bit thick.” My first time using it confirmed that yup, this is a thick dildo.

It’s not that it’s abnormally large, although of course that’s a subjective assessment. It’s that the head of the dildo is fairly blunt rather than tapered. So working it into myself took some lube and patience. I have plenty of the former but lack the latter. Once I had this endeavor underway, though, I was thrilled with the results.

There is so much to like about this dildo. Because it’s fairly stocky all the way down, there aren’t any significantly tapered bits: you know this toy is in you. It’s also got cute ridges toward the bottom from the bottom of the “sheet,” which make it easier to hold. The face of the ghost is slightly indented, giving a bit of texture but not enough to cause drag.

I really like the length of this toy. It’s long enough for me to work most of it inside, without an entire extra four or five inches sticking out. That means less of a handle, but more of a…I don’t know, some kind of aesthetic appeal? I like feeling like a toy is “just right” in length: not short enough to slip all the way inside, not so long that I can’t ever get close to full penetration. Maybe that’s just me. Either way, though, I’m a fan.

Cheers and Caveats

Cheers for a nice length and girth on the ghost. It’s a dildo that I could really feel, even after I was finished using it, and I like that.

Caveat: with the blunt head, this is probably not a good dildo for beginners.

Cheers for a lovely pearlescent coloring, shimmery and quite pretty. Caveat: it looks like it glows in the dark but does not, and that’s a disappointment. I want my haunted dildo, damn it.

Caveat: you probably shouldn’t use this for anal play. It’s got a bit of a flared base, but not much of one, and if this slips inside, I’m afraid you’re gonna have a bad time.

Cheers for Geeky Sex Toys as a company in general: small, boutique manufacturer delivering high quality products with a geeky theme. Even though they’re in Australia, they do $15 flat rate shipping anywhere in the world. I am always excited to give them a shout out.

Final Thoughts

I love pretty much everything I get from Geeky Sex Toys. This ghost dildo is the same. It’s beautiful, it’s thick, it’s incredibly satisfying, and it’s fun to use. It appeals to my enjoyment of spooky things while still being really cute. If you like Halloween and gettin’ fucked, you need to get yourself the Ghost Dildo!
