Beauty Blender Vibrator Review: A Blend of Features

I’m always interested in trying a toy with an interesting aesthetic, as you can tell if you spend any time on this blog. I was excited to try the Beauty Blender Vibrator from Funzze, which looks like a makeup application sponge but actually is (gasp) a sex toy. While the functionality falls short of my hopes, this vibrator has numerous good qualities.

First Impressions

Funzze’s toys come packaged in a discreet black cardboard box bearing the brand name and no other info.

In addition to the Beauty Blender vibrator itself, the toy comes with a charging cable, satin storage bag and instructions.

Here’s a look at the Beauty Blender from a few different angles.

The Beauty Blender vibrator has two different usable ends. The tip is pointed with a flat face on the otherwise curved body, allowing for both pinpoint vibrations and a broader vibrating surface. The base of this toy has a silicone fin that functions like a tongue flicking back and forth. Each of these mechanisms is independently controlled using buttons below the charging cable attachment points.

With its wink-wink clever design and beautiful dark teal color, the Beauty Blender is an attractive toy. Now lets talk about its function.

In Use

I really wanted to love the vibrations in the Beauty Blender, but sadly, they’re very buzzy. Surface-level buzzy vibrations are fine, but they don’t penetrate into the interior arms of the clitoris, and they tend to make me feel itchy. To use the vibrator on the Beauty Blender, I needed to point the tip directly into my clitoris, since the broader face of the toy made the vibrations feel too diffuse.

The other end of the toy, the tongue end, was moderately more effective. It requires a light touch. If the tongue encounters any resistance, it does not push past that point. This means that if you push it against the clitoris, it will only lick up to it and then return rather than going over the surface. Using this end takes some finesse, but it’s functional. It’s also a nice alternative to the buzzier vibrations.

Kudos and Caveats

Kudos for aesthetics. The Beauty Blender’s color and style are lovely. I like that it blends in (heh) with makeup gear and, unless someone looks closely, it operates in stealth mode.

Caveat: the vibrations are buzzy, not rumbly, better for surface-level stimulation.

Kudos for waterproofing. You can safely clean this toy under running water and take it in the shower with you.

Kudos for multiple use options: vibration or that tongue, and each has 10 speeds/intensities.

Caveat: the tongue isn’t as strong as it could be, so it requires a delicate hand to use and not interrupt its motion.

Caveat: the two buttons are flush with the surface, so pushing them while using the toy is challenging. I kept losing them and having to feel around for them again.

Kudos for the price point. At $32, this is a well-priced entry-level sex toy.

Final Thoughts

The Funzze Beauty Blender vibrator was not a favorite of mine, but it has some good qualities. It’s well made, aesthetically pleasing, and gives a variety of options. It’s not overpriced and it’s non-threatening in appearance, making it a good purchase for someone new to sex toys or someone who enjoys this style of stimulation. This is a pleasant blend of aesthetics and fun.

I received this toy in exchange for my honest review. Affiliate links are being used in this post, and buying a product through these links benefits me and this blog.
