We-Vibe Jive 2 Review: Still Jiving

Summer sensations are over, folks, and we’re onto Fuck-Around Fall. I decided not to use that term in my post title, though, because the robots that trawl the internet don’t always like swearing. But I certainly like it. So we’re here in Fuck-Around Fall and I’m reviewing the We-Vibe Jive 2, a wearable bullet vibrator designed for remote control fun.

First Impressions

We-Vibe’s packaging is always cheerful and good-looking. Here’s the Jive 2 in its box.

It’s excessively pink, but I still like the packaging. I was going for an artistic look on the picture but instead it’s kind of blurry. Hey, at least you know it’s my picture. That and the table I always use for a background.

Open up the Jive 2 and this is what you get.

Jive 2 with accessories

In addition to the Jive 2 itself, you get a remote control, charging cable, instructions, and a small cloth storage bag.

Here are some shots of the Jive 2 itself.

The body of the Jive 2 is bulb-shaped, with a raised ridge for internal g-spot stimulation. The external antenna is curved, and while it can be bent away from the body, it returns naturally to that curve.

The Jive 2 has a single button to control it by the toy itself, but it also has a remote control.

The best way to control the Jive 2 is either by the remote control, or the We-Vibe WeConnectApp.

In Use

I’ve reviewed bulb-shaped wearable vibrators before. In fact, I reviewed the original Jive back in high pandemic times. The Jive 2 makes several improvements on its original iteration, and it’s a quality wearable toy.

One of the best improvements over the original Jive is in the shape of the wearable toy. The raised ridge delivers the rumbly vibrations right onto the g-spot. I noticed this change immediately.

The antenna is also different, where it holds its curve instead of flopping loosely away. The firmer material means the vibrations transmit better along the antenna to the clit. For me, this still wasn’t enough to get me off on its own, but it’s still a nice feature. As a side effect, though, this firmer antenna is more of a pain to move out of the way if I want to rub my clit directly.

The best parts of the Jive remain reliable in the Jive 2. The vibrations are rumbly and penetrating. The WeConnect app stays connected and works well. The toy is well-made and waterproof. And it’s really, really quiet! The quietness, plus the remote control and app, mean this is a product built for stealth play.

Kudos and Caveats

Kudos for improving on a good toy. The body shape of the Jive 2 is way better than its predecessor.

Kudos for keeping the strong and rumbly vibrator engine at the heart of it all.

Additional kudos for waterproofing!

Caveat: The g-pot vibrations may be strong, but not a lot of those reached my clit through the antenna. If you need a lot of clit stimulation to get off, you should prepare to supply your own.

Kudos for a super quiet toy.

More kudos for a remote control and app, both of which lend themselves to more creative play.

Caveat that isn’t about the toy: Don’t involve unsuspecting strangers in your sex play.

Final Thoughts

The Jive 2 is an excellent sequel to a solid original product. We-Vibe delivers quality toys made to last, and the Jive 2 is another in a long line of excellent options for sexy fun times.

It’s fall! Fuck around with the We-Vibe Jive 2. You can get the Jive 2 from Lovehoney or directly from We-Vibe.

I received this toy in exchange for my honest review. Affiliate links are being used in this post, and buying a product through these links benefits me and this blog.
