I recently received my first Tantus toy to review: the acute dildo. I appreciate a good math analogy, and the acute dildo is indeed built at an acute angle, billed as mimicking the perfect angle for penetration. So here’s my Tantus acute dildo review.
The acute is listed as a “warm up” dildo, and this is an accurate assessment. Not particularly long or girthy, the toy is best suited for the beginning of play or for those who prefer a slimmer shaft. This would be a great beginner dildo.
The texture is a fairly standard silicone, not the super-tacky kind that picks up lint everywhere, but also not the very soft kind, either. I’m also a fan of the pearlescent midnight purple color. It has a nice curve to it, with a tipped end for g-spot stimulation, and a decently sized base. The acute would work well in a harness, but I can also hold it easily when using it myself.
This g-spot curve, while a major selling point of the toy, is perhaps my greatest frustration with it. Because the silicone is not particularly heavy or stiff, it didn’t press up into my g-spot. Instead, I found the base naturally lifting up as the curved toy shifted to slide into my mostly-straight vagina.
This wouldn’t have been a problem if the toy were longer: the extra weight of the base would have helped hold the angle and thus hit my g-spot, but this is a fairly short dildo. In order to get that g-spot stimulation, I had to continuously maneuver the base of the toy down, pushing the toy tip upward. This was awkward, and after a little while, I just gave up and treated it like any non-angled dildo. It gave me pretty good internal stimulation overall, but it wasn’t giving me the kind of firm g-spot stimulation I look for from a toy that specializes in the g-spot.
Now, I think this would be a very different situation in a harness. A harness would keep the base stationary, which would maintain the upward angle and therefore the g-spot stimulation. However, I haven’t been fucked with this toy in a harness. It’s not something I think I’ll get a chance to try soon, so that will remain in the realm of theory for the foreseeable future.
I have also discovered that this is a great toy to suck on. I know, maybe this is weird, but I often enjoy having something in my mouth when I’m playing. This toy is a really good one for that. It fits nicely in my mouth, not too wide to hurt my jaw, firm enough to feel without hurting.
I also can tell that this toy would be perfect for anal. I haven’t used it for that, yet, but I probably will in the future. It’s not a beginner anal toy, since it’s a little too wide for that. It’s probably ideal for intermediate pegging or for solo play for someone who’s had a few things up the ass before. Like I have!
The acute is a lovely little dildo. “A cute” dildo, if you will. It’s not going to be my go-to for play, but I wouldn’t mind getting fucked with it via harness, and I’ll probably shove it up my ass at some point.
Bottom line: a good toy for beginners, warmup, and intermediate anal play. Sound like your cup of tea? Pick up the Acute from Tantus and use the code ELIA15 to save 15% off your order.

Can you please not gender sex toys just because it’s phallic? That’s super unnecessary. Thanks.
Thanks for your comments, Mara. I have noted my tendency to anthropomorphize and gender sex toys more when they mimic an animal shape, but I definitely do so less now than I did years ago (such as in posts like this). I don’t want my posts to be hurtful and will do some edits.
