It’s Valentine’s Day, also known as Cheap Chocolate Eve. As the day winds down, I’m rolling in to review a brand new butt plug from Fun Factory: the Bootie Fem. This Bootie Fem review celebrates a generally well-designed anal plug with some thoughtful features to make double penetration even better.
The Bootie Fem comes in a small box with an image of the product on the front.
Inside, you get the product and some instructions. That’s all you need, folks! No charging cables involved.
(Although a storage bag would be nice. And you also need lube. BYO lube.)
Here are a few angles on the Bootie Fem. Notice the asymmetrical base, the tulip-shaped tip, and the bendiness.
Also notice that head-on, it looks like one of those Beetlejuice worms that I talked about when I reviewed the Fun Factory Volta.
Or maybe the Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors? “FEED ME, SEYMOUR!”
Now let’s talk about functionality.
The Bootie Fem is an evolution of the Bootie plug. The Bootie Fem is designed asymmetrically so one end of the base is shorter than the other and therefore doesn’t block the entrance to the vagina. This is an excellent improvement! It’s designed to allow for double penetration.
As a small butt plug, the Bootie Fem is beginner-friendly. The twin tulip tips create a dip in the middle that Fun Factory calls a “lube channel,” although this seems rather unnecessary to me. It’s just as easy to lube everything up.
I do think the Bootie Fem would be easier to insert if there was one single peak instead of the two tips. Despite that required maneuvering, the tapered shape and relatively small size mean it’s fairly easy to situate. The shape puts pressure on the vaginal walls from the outside to make vaginal penetration feel even better.
Kudos and Caveats
Kudos for the asymmetrical design. I love double penetration, and this toy makes it easy!
Additional kudos for the small size, tapered tip, and T-shaped base. Everything about this plug makes it comfortable to wear.
Caveat: the tip of the toy might give you a bit of trouble on insertion, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to overcome.
Kudos for a product that’s easy to clean. After washing, you can boil the Bootie Fem to disinfect it.
Mixed kudo and caveat for the price. At full price, it’s $45, which is on the higher end of a butt plug’s usual price range but on the lower end of Fun Factory’s price range. High quality but not inexpensive.
The Bootie Fem is an excellent toy for those new to anal play or looking to add another quality product to their arse-nal. The asymmetrical base and tapered shape make it easy to wear, and it really elevates PIV intercourse. So splurge a little! A toy like this is good enough to make you shake your bootie.
