Innovative and unique sex toys are my jam, so I’m happy to review the Loviss Dewdrop Vibrator Necklace. This playful, lovely vibrator doubles as jewelry if you’re daring, and it offers an aesthetically-crafted celebration of pleasure at your fingertips. While I have some quibbles about the vibrator itself, the overall product is tongue-in-cheek fun.
First Impressions
The Loviss Dewdrop Vibrator Necklace comes in a simple white box with the brand name on it.
Inside, the Dewdrop Vibrator Necklace sits on a black foam backing.
Get under that foam backing, and you’ll find the rest of the necklace chain, the charging cable, and some instructions.
Here’s the actual necklace in hand.
The dewdrop part of the Dewdrop Necklace is red silicone with a starburst pattern on it, and the charging cable connects to the back via magnetic induction. The silicone dewdrop is mounted on a rose-gold loop which connects it to the matching chain. The chain is long enough to slip over my head without unfastening, but there’s also a clasp.
It’s a cheeky little sex toy, daring you to wear it right out in the open as jewelry, and that’s pretty fun. So let’s talk about function.
In Use
The center of the red starburst is the button to control the toy. A long press turns it on and off, and then shorter presses cycle through a series of intensities and patterns.
This vibrator is very buzzy, not at all rumbly. The vibration is very surface-level. For me, this isn’t my favorite kind of vibration: it doesn’t penetrate as deeply as I’d like, and I have a harder time getting off with it than deeper, stronger vibrators. For the cuteness of the product itself, I’d had hopes for a deep, penetrating vibration. Alas, this was not to be. It’s strong, and intense, but very superficial. Lots of people don’t mind that kind of vibration, but I’m a rumbly gal, and I’ll always choose rumbly over buzzy.
I still appreciate the design of the product, and its waterproofing, and the “Is that a sex toy or not?” ambiguity of its style.
Kudos and Caveats
Kudos for cheekiness. I like how daring this vibrator is, inviting someone to make suppositions about its true function. Jewelry? Or something else? It’s not particularly subtle, but that’s part of the fun.
Kudos for aesthetics. While the rose gold may be plastic, it never feels cheap in hand. I like the heft and weight of it.
More kudos for waterproofing. Take this vibrator in the bath or shower if you please!
Caveat: the vibrator itself was a disappointment for me. It’s a high-intensity buzzy vibe that’s more surface stimulation that depth. It’s also not as quiet as I’d want from a toy that seems to invite public play.
Kudos: A vibrator at your fingertips! This toy is making a statement about prioritizing pleasure, and I dig it.
Final Thoughts
The Loviss Dewdrop Necklace Vibrator is not the best vibrator in the world, but let’s be honest, here: the novelty is at least half the fun. Do you want to go about wearing a vibrator and making people wonder if it’s really a vibrator? Perfect. It’s pretty, it’s saucy, and it’s daring. This is a delightful gift for your boldest friend or your adventurous lover…or yourself. Send some flirtatious signals to that stranger across the bar. Or give the best gift at the bachelorette party. The Loviss Dewdrop Necklace Vibrator is fun, and sometimes that’s all a product really needs to be. You can get the Dewdrop directly from Loviss.
