Mushroom Sucking Vibrator Review: Masturbation Month Day Four

It’s my 300th post on this blog! It’s also still National Masturbation Month! What a perfect day to review the Mushroom Sucking Vibrator from Inyarose. This toy offers two different types of stimulation and manages to look cute as hell while doing it.

First Impressions

The Mushroom comes in a white box with the toy’s name and stylized image.

outer box

The box got a bit banged up in transit, but hey, this mushroom came from far away. The toy itself was undamaged.

Here it is!

Mushroom with instructions and cable

As you can see, it’s much pinker than the box indicates. The Mushroom comes with basic instructions and a charging cable.

Here it is from some different angles.

The Mushroom has two (three) features: a vibrating stem, a sucking head, and a bonus heating option. I always consider heating a bonus because it’s not going to get you off on its own.

The toy is controlled by two buttons. One turns on the vibrator and cycles through patterns, and also activates the heating mode with a double-click. The other button controls the clitoral sucker at the Mushroom’s head. Short clicks make the toy cycle through ten different sucking intensities.

The Mushroom charges through the kind of charger where you stab it into the little hole. You can see the gray dimple in the second and third pics above, and that’s where the charger goes.

In Use

The vibrator on the Mushroom was not as good as I’d hoped. Predominantly buzzy, it was fine for some light surface stimulation but wouldn’t do anything for my g-spot. The shape is nice for g-spot stimulation but the toy itself wasn’t up to the task. I’m not much interested in heating as a feature, but if you are, then note that it’s available on the Mushroom.

But the clit sucker? That’s the money maker for this toy. The stimulation is direct and focused. It’s easy to line up that hole right where it belongs. Even on the lowest setting, I found the intensity nearly too much. Nearly. So it was on the upper end of “just right” for me. If you like more intensity, well, you’ve got nine more levels to blow your clit and your mind.

The stimulation was absolutely delightful and got me off in no time at all.

Worth noting: the “stem” of the Mushroom makes a sort of pseudo-erection when the mushroom top is up against one’s clitoris. Just a fun note for those who might enjoy this as a feature.

Kudos and Caveats

Kudos for a great aesthetic. The Mushroom is cute, if a bit aggressively pink, and the little details like the “spots” indented on the mushroom cap add to the whole image.

Additional kudos for complete waterproofing. Want to take this toy in the bath or shower? Go for it. This also means the Mushroom is easy to clean.

Caveat: the vibrator is really buzzy, and so unless you love buzzy stimulation, this isn’t a great pick.

Kudos for the clitoral stimulator, though, the real star of the show. It would be fine to only have this be a clit sucker. Pretend the vibrator doesn’t exist.

Kudos for intense intensities! Ramp this baby all the way up and go for broke. It’s a powerhouse.

Caveat: no storage bag. I always want my toys to come with a storage bag.

Kudos for the price point. At under $50, this is a pretty good bargain.

Final Thoughts

The Mushroom Sucking Vibrator from Inyarose is an excellent clitoral stimulator with a really fun aesthetic. It’s non-threatening with its cute styling, so it’s perfect for someone who might be put off by sex toys that are aggressively penis-y. This is a quality clit stimulator that gets the job done. If you’d like to get one for yourself, you can purchase directly from Inyarose. Enjoy!
