Bloomi Link Flexible Handcuffs Review

I’m happy to be on the blog today reviewing the Bloomi Link Flexible Handcuffs. I’ve become more and more of a Bloomi fan since I started reviewing for them. With high-quality sex products at intro-level price points, plus an in-store presence in mainstream shops like Target, Bloomi is making sex toys more accessible. And I’m all about accessibility. The Link Flexible Handcuffs are silicone handcuffs for those who want to dabble in restraint play. Let’s take a look.

First impressions

The Link Flexible handcuffs come in a basic white box with an image of the product and the Bloomi branding.

Here they are out of the box. They come with a small storage bag, and they’re foldable with a tiny magnet to hold them that way.

And here they are unfolded.

These handcuffs are made of a soft, stretchy silicone. Here’s what one looks like on my wrist.

Now let’s talk about function.

In Use

The Bloomi Link Flexible Handcuffs are easy to slip on. They stretch comfortably to fit over my wrists, and once on, they feel snug without being too tight. I liked the way I could pull gently against them for the sensation of restraint.

It’s also fairly easy to pull out of these flexible handcuffs if you want to. While they stay put on their own, if you twist and pull against them, they’ll roll off. That’s part of the design, definitely: they’re perfect if you want to feel restrained but you don’t want to actually be reliant to your partner to release you.

Who Should Buy Them (And Who Shouldn’t)

The Link Flexible Handcuffs are a wonderful choice for people who are new to restraint play. They’re also great for people who like restraint play but have anxiety around true helplessness. You can simulate helplessness while still having a level of control. With a $20 price point, they’re also ideal for folks on a tight budget.

These are also a wonderful choice for self-bondage: they’re easy to get into and out of, and you can feel restrained without safety concerns. You can get them on behind your back, or over your head, and enjoy that pseudo-helpless sensation without a lot of elaborate setup.

If you want true restraint and complete dependence on a partner, these flexible handcuffs won’t provide that. You can pull your wrists out of them without significant effort. If that’s what you’re going for, this isn’t the product for you.

Final Thoughts

The Bloomi Link Flexible Handcuffs are an excellent product for the curious new kinkster or budget-conscious light restraint fan. While they don’t provide the same complete control as more expensive equipment, or rope, they’re much safer and more durable than cheap novelty handcuffs. The travel bag and compact foldable design make them easy to take with you for a fun weekend getaway. And for $20, you just can’t beat the cost. You can buy the Link Handcuffs directly through the Bloomi website.

I received this toy in exchange for my honest review. Affiliate links are being used in this post, and buying a product through these links benefits me and this blog.
