Not too much to say about packaging here: it’s simple and clear with no obnoxious close-ups of a woman’s orgasmic face. It’s pretty nondescript on one’s nightstand.
In Use
The clitoral balm is thin but not watery, white in color and easy to apply. It smells like coconut, which is very nice. It produces a pretty instantaneous warming sensation. That was my most noticeable thought: it was quite warm and tingly. I kept expecting it to start burning or become uncomfortable, but it never did.
Part of the marketing for the clitoral balm states that it increases sensation and sensitivity because of arginine and ginseng. I really couldn’t tell if this was true for me or not. I didn’t have any decreased sensation, but because the warming feeling was so pronounced, I didn’t notice anything other than “warmth.” My orgasm was ultimately similar to my other orgasms. This is such a subjective experience, though, that I feel like I can neither confirm nor deny the effects.
I do, however, think the warmth is useful for drawing attention to the normal sensations of clitoral contact. It highlights that part of the body and likely makes everything feel more pleasurable just because you’re paying attention.

I enjoyed using the clitoral balm from Bijoux Indiscrets. While it didn’t give me any more mind-blowing orgasms than usual, I found myself reaching for it when I wasn’t quite in the mood but wanted to be.
