If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you know that I’m always excited to try a new type of sex toy. I was thrilled when VVD contacted me to review a couple of their amazing products: the Vkini (which is today’s review), and the Rider Desire, which I’ll be posting about excitedly very soon. The Vkini is a bra-style breast stimulator/vibrator that’s absolutely adorable, and absolutely does not fit my boobs, and I still had a bunch of fun testing. But I’m getting ahead of myself! Let’s start from the beginning.
First Impressions
VVD’s branding is absolutely beautiful. My Vkini came in this gorgeous box.
I love the playful vibe of the box, which manages to feel both retro and fresh.
Lift the lid for the good stuff!
That storage bag is a thicker soft vinyl-like material, not cheap poly or plastic. But it’s hiding the product itself, which is nestled into a custom-cut foam storage stray.
Here’s a better look at the Vkini and its various components.
The Vkini consists of spiral silicone rings to encircle the breasts, each topped with a heart-shaped vibrator motor. It is held in place with straps somewhat like a halter-style bra, all of which are adjustable. One strap goes around the torso, the other behind the neck. The inside of each cup is tipped with a strong magnet to hold the nipple stimulating attachments.
The magnets are very sturdy, and you can even pick up each up by the attached mouth/flower head and shake it without dislodging it. They stay in place really well.
Now let’s talk about the actual function.
In Use
I’m fat (size 22/24 US), and I was not expecting the torso strap of this product to encompass my body. Surprisingly, it did! The torso strap was definitely long enough to wrap all the way around with room to spare, so this is made for a wider variety of body sizes than I anticipated.
Sadly, though, it does not fit my breasts. While the spiral cup is designed to extend outward, the base silicone ring size is fixed. It would not reach anywhere near the base of my breasts. This means the product was not exactly “wearable,” although I was able to line everything up properly to see how the vibrator motors worked.
The actual mouth/flower stimulators are really cute. The mouth attachment is wider than the flower attachment, and it would accommodate most nipple sizes. It does not fully accommodate my barbell piercing, and I had to angle the head or the piercing to get partial coverage. For most folks, this is not a concern, but I think the pierced nipples crowd probably overlaps significantly with the target audience of this product, so it’s worth keeping in mind.
The Vkini is controllable by an app, but I used the buttons on the hearts themselves to control it, for simplicity’s sake. Each motor operates independently and offers a variety of intensities and patterns. It’s a moderately buzzy vibrator that provides pleasant stimulation without the strong rumble of a more robust vibrator. I think if I had been able to seat the entire cup in place, the vibration would have been a lot more pronounced throughout the breast. As-is, though, while it was nowhere near enough to get me where I wanted to go on its own, it was cute and really fun to test.
Kudos and Caveats
Kudos for a novel idea for a sex toy/accessory and its beautiful branding.
Also, kudos for a gorgeous storage pouch that’s big enough to hold the product, charger, and all its accessories. And it’s not a small product!
Additional kudos for water resistance! I imagine this is a fun toy for sexy shower times. Not submersible, though, so despite the promo image of hot women making out in a pool, don’t take it in the pool.
More kudos for making the torso straps long enough for many types of bodies.
Caveat: this product does not fit larger-sized breasts. VVD has some mixed messaging on this. The promotional page says “Crafted for women of all shapes and sizes,” but in the FAQs, they say it fits small-to-medium breasts, A-C cups with some D cups. So…not all shapes and sizes. Cup size is relative to band size, so a 32D may very well fit this, but a 40D probably won’t. If the base of your breasts is wider than the silicone ring, it’s not going to fit.
Caveat: the vibrator is buzzy rather than rumbly, which may not matter much to you for nipple stimulation, but is worth keeping in mind.
Kudos for overall design that enables stimulation head exchange (flowers/mouths) while also making the magnets strong enough to keep them in place.
More kudos for pricing. At $49.99, this is reasonably priced. If you are in the cup size range that fits this product, you should totally get it. You can also use the discount code “ELIAVKINI” to get $5 off!
Final Thoughts
The VVD Vkini is not really made for my body, but it’s so cute, I didn’t mind giving it a try. I had a fun time experimenting with the settings and trying the different heads. I think if you fit into this product, it would be such fun to use. You can get the Vkini directly from VVD, and don’t forget my discount code (ELIAVKINI) for your $5 savings! And stay tuned for my VVD Rider Desire review coming soon, which I’m so excited to share.
